Who we are

Slikweid started with two young brothers – Bob and Bram – who took their first steps into the world of flowers by unpacking boxes of roses for another company. What began as a simple side job quickly grew into a true passion for the craft. In 2013, they decided to take the leap and start their own business.

With a small operation buying and selling flowers under the name Slikweid, the company steadily grew — powered by their hands-on experience, deep understanding of the trade, and strong relationships with growers. Over the years, Slikweid evolved into a reliable international wholesale and retail partner, sourcing high-quality flowers directly from farms in Kenya and Ecuador.

In 2023, the journey expanded further with the launch of Kaandorp & Klimesch in Vienna — a daughter company focused on local retail and a modern cash & carry concept for florists.

Today, Slikweid stands for experience, quality, and international reach, while staying rooted in the simple belief that every flower deserves to be handled with care — from field to customer
